Old Fashioned Christmas Celebration
The Chapel has a rich history, dating back to 1855. It is the oldest church building in continuous use in Kendall County.

The 2024 Family Fun Christmas Celebration is held 10am-6pm with a bake sale, crafts, activities & storytime for children, plus a visit with Santa. Entertainment includes Dance of the Nutcrackers, Church Bell Choir, YHS Madrigals, and more. Hammered Dulcimer is scheduled for 12-1pm. See full schedule HERE​

The Sandwich Fair board has decided to discontinue the live-judged culinary competition for this year. I have enjoyed playing dulcimer as backdrop music for the event and will miss seeing my many friends and contestants this year.

During this popular event, home cooks bring food dishes to be judged live on stage. Categories range from cookies and bread to beef and pork, and audience members are invited to taste samples. Dulcimer music provides background music prior to and following each scheduled competition, as well as during judging.
